Our story began in 1997 when we faced a challenge of our own—finding a local BERNINA dealer that not only offered reliable products but also provided exceptional service. After scouring the Yellow Pages and coming up short, we decided to make it a matter of prayer, and God opened the door for us to proceed!"
Our family’s passion for sewing, quilting, and embroidery led us to start Top Stitch Sewing from our home near Latham, Missouri. What began as a small, home-based operation quickly grew into something more. In 1999, we relocated our business to the heart of our Versailles Mennonite Community, where we’ve been serving customers ever since.
Our decision to start the business was born out of necessity, but over the years, it has become our mission to provide more than just sewing machines. We aim to offer solutions—solutions to sewing problems, solutions to finding the perfect machine, and solutions for your quilting and embroidery needs. From the beginning, we saw an opportunity to fill a gap in our community, and now, nationwide, to provide people with the same reliable service and quality products we had been searching for."
