Important Usage Notes

Before attaching your SID foot to your BERNINA Q Series Longarm Quilting Machine, please read the following instructions to ensure safe and proper use:

• Set the foot height to match the thickness of your quilt sandwich before beginning.

• Always Thread with the Foot Down - Be sure your presser foot is in the down position when threading or using Needle Up/Down functions.

• Do not use the semi-auto needle threader while the SID foot is attached, as this may damage your machine.

• Always complete your threading process before attaching the SID foot to the machine.

• This foot is designed for single-needle use only. Do not attempt to use it with double needles.

• he SID foot must remain in the down position during all quilting operations.
