The Model 9000 New Heights height adjustable sewing table will take your sewing and crafting to the next level!

With an adjustable height between 29" - 40", you can sew and craft from a sitting or standing position.

Raising the New Heights Sewing Table to 36" makes it the perfect height to use as a cutting table or crafting surface giving you a 60"x36" work surface.

 Finishes:

Standing or sitting the 9000 sewing machine cabinet has you at the right height.  With adjustments between 29"-40" you can sew and craft to your heart's content.  The edges of this sewing center have smooth edges so you never need to be concerned about your fabrics getting snagged.

With a construction of melamine mar-resistant surfaces that are durable and beautiful as well the Horn sewing cabinets give you many years of sewing.

The left soft-close extended drawer has a shelf to transform the drawer into a working surface.  It is a perfect place for a lightbox, extra notions, or sewing supplies. (the drawer shelf has 2 pins to hold it in place, always be sure to keep those off of your table surface so you do not scratch it)

A 6-plug power strip is in the back right corner. This convenience makes it easy to plug in your sewing machine, slimline light, or lightbox.

The sewing machine well or hole is 31" x 15 1/2".   This size accommodates most of the new larger sewing machines including the Bernina 880, Brother Luminar, and Babylock Solaris.

An acrylic insert that is custom cut for your particular sewing machine is needed to make the sewing table function the best.  It closes in the hole around your sewing machine to the edge of the sewing machine hole.

 On the right side of the sewing machine is a small cubby measuring 6" x 24", a great place to store your narrow cutting rulers or rotary cutter.

Another toggle switch is on the right for the New Heights feature of the 9000.  The whole tabletop moves up or down with this button starting as low as 29" up to 40".  Sitting or standing, you can be comfortable as you sew.  The memory can be set for 3 positions to include your favorite height positions.

With the New Heights feature, you can stand and work free motion quilting, taking some pressure off your back.

To create a flat work surface on the 9000 cabinet, carefully remove your acrylic insert, remember to store it on the longest side to protect it best.  The filler panel that sits in your sewing machine well stores under the tabletop, behind the sewing machine.  When you want a flat surface to work on, store your acrylic insert in the same location.

A flat table surface is perfect for laying out patterns, and even cutting out - be sure to get the 36" x 60" cutting mat to fit your table.

Acrylic Insert

Cabinet Insets & Inserts are designed to fit your specific make and model of sewing machine and cabinet and fill gaps around your sewing area*, allowing you to work more efficiently and comfortably. They are made with one of the highest grades of acrylic.

All the inserts are designed based on having the accessory tray removed from the machine.  The insert is designed to be perfectly level with the free arm of the machine.  If you have a top-loading bobbin this may affect your use. 

Occasionally those that are custom cutting the insert will have additional questions about your sewing machine, or the hole that they are fitting, and you will be asked more questions.

THE BACK OF THE CABINET

There is an entire cubby system in the back of the Horn 9000.  One shelf is adjustable in height.  The top cubby is a great place to store your drawer shelf (remember to keep those pins up!)

The adjustable shelves are not considered stable enough to store a machine or embroidery arm on.  

You can choose to use the casters on your table for easy movability, or the glides at the bottom of your height adjustable legs.  The Horn 9000 comes with both options.  If you choose to change from one to the other, take extreme care to completely flip the table over to change them, do not roll the cabinet, or cause stress to another part of the cabinet. 

LIFT

The "Whisper Quiet" Electric Lift has a red toggle switch to position your sewing machine exactly where you want to use it.  Typically a sewing machine uses three positions on the sewing table.

1. Tabletop sewing for using the free-arm of your sewing machine.  This is where you would use an embroidery machine too.

2. The middle position gives you a flat sewing option with the machine table being flush with the sewing cabinet top. We really encourage you to purchase a custom made acrylic insert to fit around your particular sewing machine model, giving you a smooth surface around your sewing machine and machine hole.

3. The third position of the lift places your sewing machine in the storage area under your sewing cabinet top.  With your sewing machine in the lowest position, you can close up the sewing cabinet.

The beauty of the electric lift is getting your sewing machine exactly where you want it with only the push of a button, no force is needed to move heavy sewing machines.

The max weight recommended for an electric lift is 80lbs.

As of January 2021, the size of the machine hole is big enough to accommodate the current home user sewing machines on the market.  Check the dimensions below, and measure your sewing machine.

The Horn cabinets are made in lots.  For example, the 8090 model in white might be made this week and the 9000 next week.  This affects the availability of each cabinet.   When you place your order you are in line for any cabinet that may be in stock, or the next run of the cabinet you choose.  So your cabinet could arrive in 2 weeks if it is in stock or be on backorder until the next run.  Some cabinets could be as far out as eight weeks or more.
