The easy air threading coverstitch machine

The Bernette 62 AIRLOCK coverstitch machine makes threading the looper thread like child's play with its automatic threader. The Bernette 62 AIRLOCK coverstitch machine is the only coverstitch machine of all the b60 series. It has 4 coverstitches and 3 chain-stitches that can be used for unlimited applications for different types of fabric, in particular, for perfectly sewn stretchy fabrics. This coverstitch machine allows you to guide the fabric hands-free, with the presser foot that can be lowered and temporarily raised with the knee lifter. A large spacious and well-lit working area for large projects is all covered, thanks to the slide-on table and matching coverstitch insert, and the 5 LEDs.

Automatic air threader

Threading the looper has never been easier and quicker thanks to the automatic air threader. The looper can be threaded with a simple push of a button.

5 LEDs in the needle and working area

The well-lit workspace of the Bernette 62 AIRLOCK coverstitch machine eases sewing as well as threading of loopers and needles. The 5 LED lights facilitate precise and accurate work.

Lots of space, thanks to the large working area (130 mm)

The 130 mm. space right of the needle gives coverstitching another dimension. The large working area is ideal for leading and catching heavy sewing projects in front and behind the needle and gives you the space for all tasks in the needle and looper area.

Freearm

Sewing tubular projects such as cuffs, legs, and necklines will be easy, thanks to the freearm.

Super-large slide-on sewing machine table

The easy-to-attach and included slide-on sewing machine table makes sewing and fabric guiding even more comfortable, especially for large sewing projects. The matching coverstitch insert additionally extends the sewing area and closes perfectly with the slide-on table. This allows the fabric to glide smoothly over the large rounded working area.

Knee lifter

Use the supplied knee lifter to position the fabric comfortably under the presser foot with both hands. Simply push the knee lifter to the right with your knee and the presser foot is lowered or temporarily raised.
